At Zaporizhzhya NPP operates half of the units

Currently, four out of 15 power units of Ukrainian nuclear power plants are disconnected, three of them at ZAES.

On Thursday, May 21, the Zaporizhzhya NPP connected the power unit No. 6 to the network after the completion of the current repair, the Energoatom press service reported.

Thus, 11 out of 15 power units of four operating nuclear power plants of Ukraine are in operation.

At the power unit No. 3 of the ZAES lasts the 154th day of the scheduled maintenance, unit No. 4 of the ZAES — the 21st day of the scheduled maintenance, unit No. 5 of the ZAES — the 36th day of the average scheduled repair, unit No. 2 of the South Ukrainian NPP — 36- e day of average scheduled repair.

The indicators characterizing the radiation, fire and environmental conditions at the industrial sites of all country's nuclear power plants are within normal limits.

The day before, the first power unit of the Rivne NPP was connected to the network after it turned off on May 18 after the automatic protection was triggered due to the disconnection of the main circulation pumps.
