NABU is conducting a procurement investigation for the Boryspil Express
Investigative actions are carried out in the case of abuse in the purchase of software.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau conducts searches in Ukrzaliznytsia and with representatives of a number of private companies as part of an investigation into the abuse of UZ officials when purchasing software for the electronic purchase of Kiev-Boryspil express tickets. This was reported by the NABU press service on Facebook on Friday, May 22.
“The NABU detectives have been investigating these facts since December 2018. The preliminary legal qualification is part 5 of article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” the NABU said.
According to media reports, searches are carried out at home and in the office of the acting Board member of Ukrzaliznytsia Roman Vepritsky.
Earlier it was reported that the Antimonopoly Committee is investigating long-term purchases of Ukrzaliznytsia from two companies.
